The biggest lines, the biggest tricks, the biggest balls. The best of the best are doing crazy s*@#t under speed wings these days. And this video is from a single week of speed riding.

Paragliding the Ranch in June

Alison and I spent a couple of days this last week in Cashmere with the hopes that she would be signed off on her P2 and ready to fly her brand new Ozone Buzz z3 (a beautifully crafted wing) outside of the radio supervision of Doug and Denise. The weather was pretty crappy but they managed to get a few nice flights in around the Ranch, first from Glory down into Nahahum canyon and then from Independence. Alex Smith also showed up. Haven't seen that kid for years and it was great to catch up. Here's another short for you.

A weekend in Canada

Alison was scheduled to climb with her alpine class on Saturday and Sunday a few weekends ago so I thought it would be fun to head up and get some bouldering in while the rest of the crew was fighting for wet, polished and slabby trad routes. We drove up on Friday and arrived around noon to beautiful weather despite a foreboding forecast for rain. We got in some great climbs on a deserted Burger and Fries wall before our fingers were raw. Allen showed up Friday night and we planned to hit up the bouldering for the next couple of days. Saturday was misting and overcast but not too wet for the majority of the day. Despite the decent climbing conditions, we had our asses handed to us. It was quite humiliating. So, of course a video had to be made. That afternoon we decided to rest our soft little digits and hike the Chief which neither of us had done. Sunday was rained out so again, we hiked the Chief for a little exercise then headed home. No complaints. An ego check is always a good thing.
